Dunvullaig, Craignish

Having lived in the house for over 30 years our clients took the brave decision to entirely gut the building and re-design it so that it would be fit for the rest of their lives. We were able to change the axis of the house and open up new views and bringing natural light into the building at all times of the day. Inside, the house is spacious, accessible and leads naturally out to the garden which was also renewed. It was important to keep the original character of the building as defined by the two chimney stacks and the dormer windows. Internally much of the original layout remains, so it definitely still feels like Dunvullaig.
